Rajeev Chandrasekhar requests all to celebrate World Heritage Day by visiting monuments.World Heritage Day 2010 date is on 18 April is World Heritage Day. Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar is presently an Independent member of the Parliament of India representing Karnataka and Bangalore Urban in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. ABIDe or Agenda for Bengaluru Infrastructure and Development Task Force on Saturday urged the state government to set up a Bangalore Heritage Commission to protect and preserve the rich heritage of Bangalore. Rajiv Chandrasekar appealed to the people to celebrate World Heritage Day by visiting monuments, places of historical importance and said that Bangalore was home to many heritage places such as the Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore Palace, Tipu’s Palace, Bull Temple, Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall and Attara Kacheri.WorldHeritageDay offers an opportunity to raise people’s awareness of the diversity of cultural heritage and the efforts that are required to protect and conserve it.
