Kerala Travel Mart 2010, KTM inaugurated in Kochi

Kerala Travel Mart 2010, KTM inaugurated in Kochi. The four-day Kerala Travel Mart (KTM), began in Kochi today showcasing tourism products of Kerla with buyers from the world over pouring in.

KeralaTravelMart is said to be the biggest International TravelMart concentrating on a particular state, this year will see over 500 international tourism professionals from 54 countries participating.

There are 382 sellers from Kerala state under different tourism product categories, including 12 houseboats. Buyers coming all over from various countries, including Poland, Finland, Mexico and South Africa.

The Kerala Travel Mart 2010 organised at Bolgatty Palace Hotel, Bolgatty Island, Kochi, inaugurated by Jasti Chelameswar, Chief Justice, Kerala High Court. The function presided by Cheriyan Philip, Chairman, KeralaTourism Development Corporation (KTDC).

Kerala Tourism will make a presentation on KeralaTourism. According to the latest reports, there are three seminars in this Mart.

The first seminar to be held on September 25 is on ‘Buyers perspective of Kerala’ at 11 am and the second Seminar is on ‘Sustainable Tourism’ at 3 pm. The third one on Muziris Heritage on September 26 at 11 am.
